Current Status: CLOSED
January 9, 2012—Due to the tremendous volume we've received in just a few months, ChiZine.com is currently closed to both fiction and poetry submissions. So that we don't give our faithful slush readers brain aneurisms, we will be closed until mid-2012 or thereabouts. Please check back here for an update as to when we'll re-open. We thank you, and the tired eyes of our slushies thank you.

FICTION SUBMISSION GUIDELINES:
- Dark.
- Well-written.
- 4,000 words or less.
- Rich Text Format (.rtf), Microsoft Word (.doc) attachments, or, preferably, Open Office format (.odt).
- No reprints.
- A simultaneous submission is okay, as long as you tell us it's simultaneous.
- No multiple submissions.
- Be sure to write your name and the story's title in the Subject line of the email.
Payment (on publication): 7 cents per word (USD). As of July 2011, all payments will be sent via PayPal.
